Better thanks to more emphasis on firepower, but I'm still not sure what are you trying to achieve here. Why do you prefer side sponsons to standard turret. you will still be quickly reduced to full stop after a few rounds of concentrated firepower with LB guns/artillery/SRMs/LRMs, so mounting heavy guns fixed front kinda sucks.

The advantage to using two side sponson turrets to a single main turret is you don't have to armor an additional location plus a main turret can jam while side sponson turrets do not. With two side sponson turrets, the firepower is split up but has a much wider arc of fire than a single main turret.
The front firing arc is pretty wide and presumably pointed towards the enemy at the start of the battle. It is a pretty good bet an enemy unit will wander across its front arc during most of the battle. Even if an enemy can immobilize McDeath and get all of their units out of the front arc of it quickly, that's a lot of real estate to give up on the battlefield and may not be the best option. YMMV.

Okay it's getting better, but again the same load could and most likely be placed on a smaller frame and the loss would be either in armor or ammo load. Try taking the same weapons and going for a smaller frame, drop it down to 100 tons, then 95 etc...you will get a better tank out of it.
