This is about the ONLY mech were I have put the RLs on it, mainly to match the artwork of the SW AT-ST. I have a second variant that uses a SRM4 in place of the RL. Noting here that in the SW universe the AT-ST is said to be 3 tons in total weight for one source, another claims it is 20 tons, which is the one I went with.

Nice and simple. Mine would have used an SRM/2 and half or quarter tons of ammo for special munitions and SPLs instead of SLs.

I could see the pulse lasers as an upgrade...I think I will play around with that idea some.
