Back in the day Kenner, the folks who put out the original SW toys, had some ideas to continue the story line after Jedi ended, they had a mock up of an AT-AT with an Ion Cannon mounted in place of the cargo hold. So going with that idea I make one with a Thumper, mainly because the Long Tom won't work on mechs.

Not sure if it is even a particial mech, but it was different enough to make:

It looks good. I'd have slowed it down but added Hardened Armor. Why the third MPL? Just to use weight?

Yes for the second AT-AT, I needed to kill weight and the pulse laser worked.

I think it was for the weight issue. Odds favor that being the case. I will look at some of the pictures of the AT-AT I have and see if one of them had an extra laser.

I remember a group effort a while ago on the AT-AT's I dont have it anymore (was on my comp that died) But I agree I would have gone with hardened armor. I really like hardened armor.

The odd thing is I actually prefer the design of the AT-TE to the AT-AT It just is a neater looking design I think at least.

Going with the harden armor is an idea I can look into. I didn't use it mainly because it was something my group had not gotten around to using.
