Overview:
When the plans for the Trine were layed down, techs laughed and
engineers joked. It was the Awesome in most respects, but at sine 25
tons lighter. The nickname was the "Awesome Mini" and in some
circles the "Pretty Good" The design was no joke though. Housing 3
ER PPCs on one chassis with the ability to keep up sustained fire the
TRI-P Trine was very real, and very deadly.
Capabilities:
Endo Steel and a Light Engine are the major factors that made
this mech possible. The speed is limited to a slow 46 kph while
walking, 64 in a run, but this is more of an after thought as the
'mech is a heavy weapons carrier and fire support 'mech. Armor is
heavy for the size of the 'mech, mounting almost 12 tons of Heavy
Grade belts.
The weapons, as noted earlier, are a trio of ER-PPCs mounted in
the fashion of the Awesome. Each PPC is directly installed with 2
double strength heat sinks, adding to the amount of heat dissapated
fer volley of fire. The usual barage a Trine can fire is a burst of
all PPCs, then only firing 2 for the next 10 seconds while the system
cools down. This tactic proves incredibly reliable, espicially
against other medium and heavy 'mechs.
Deployment:
The Trine is still in testing, but trials have gone smoothly.

Known Variants:
There are 2 known variations on the Trine. One simply houses
cheaper standard PPCs and allows the 'mech to keep up a sustained
barrage of all 3 PPCs indefinatly with no heat problems at all. This
version os the TRI-S
The TRI-C removes one ERPPC and replaces it with an ER Large
Laser and Medium Pulse laser for closer range damage potential.

Maybe this is a bit late, but Trine is a lightning elemental spell from Final Fntasy Seven. One of my favorite enemy skills, but among the harder ones to obtain.

"Beta" was so much cooler though  That, and I got it from the Midgar Zolom and kind of "cheated" with that through most of Disc 2, way before I ever should of got it.
