Sounds like the RL20 would be good as a point-blank weapon system. Immagine being caught in the firezone of about 3 or 4 of these things..... Yeef, that would hurt.
The reduced range does make me wonder what the big difference is (manufacturing, accuracy, etc.) between the 10 and 20 versions of the launcher.

Thanks. Ya, yours is more in line with back woods kinda construction. I just posted my link because you reminded me of it.
As for Jeep [WW2] or Hummer, I have to say that the concept for half the variants is based upon the US Hummer. However, i would say that it just represents the general utility vehicle that the Jeep and Hummer fill in militaries. And as for the weight, them bloody weapons in BT are HEAVY! needed to insure my variants could all be built on the single body.
