I'm starting a new unit, Mercs of course 
The Battallion (4 companies) will be called Blighted Sun. I have my avatar made, just waiting on Mordel now
If you wish to join, ASK me first. Then just buy the custom Rank/Affil. in the store here and tell Mordel the rank I gave you (I will PM him to confirm this) and the unit Avatar will become yours.
I already put Seraph down on my Roster as the commander of 2nd Company, till I talk to him anyways. If he wants in he'll be a Major and 2nd in Command.
Once I get contacted by people I'll finalize the roster and post it here. Oh, and about half the mechs are set in stone from the story I'm writing about it. So you may not get to pick your mech either 
Any questions, just post 'em.

Yeh im in, but have got a long while towait as i blew all my credits on HMpro. Added a few new reviews but have along time to wait before i can get the credits.
If i can put me in a medium mech. Preferably something along the lines of Centurion, Enforcer, ill be very much abliged!

Long time ago when I first thought of doing it... don't know if he remembers or not lol. Guess I shoulda brought it up again, especially since he never said one way or the other before... oh well. He can always bust my head if he wants heh. It is his forum after all.

Well, considering we have 3 Centurions and an Enforcer... ROFL.
CN9-A (Has Pilot already named)
CN9-D
CN10-B
ENF-4R (Has Pilot already named)
Not to mention the 2 LAMs the unit found in the Periphery. Was all they could get working out of an entire company of star league vintage mechs. They sold the rest to the Lyran Commonwealth.
The unit has some new/lostech stuff, but not even 50% yet.

LORD, that is a very massive line-up there for the Command lance.
Hauptmann, MAD II, Nightstar.... You sure you aren't running some Royal Guard unit ?
Heck even an ol Tbolt is a merc's dream.

LOL, notice first company is the only one with a lot of new tech. And most of that is concentrated in first lance. The unit has been around for a long time, 1st-3rd company since 3007 (52 years now) and 4th company since 3011 (48 years). So they've had plenty of time to aquire things. Including an older Overlord and an even older Leopard for dropships. The one thing they HAVEN'T gotten is a JumpShip.

From 3007-3022 they worked for the Lyrans. Then they took a contract with the FWL till 3030. At that time due to the death of their original commander they took 2 months off to escort him home for burial. After that they returned to working for the Lyran Commonwealth. During the Clan invasion the new commander was also killed and Ralgith t'Mayasara (My personal PC) ascended to command of the unit. Now they are at a fork in the road, to grab one of the contracts for the counter attack, or to stay in the Inner Sphere.
So, anyways, wait till I finish the entire story for the unit and I'll post it in the FanFic section here.

Well... lol. Assuming Seraph actually accepts command I don't have a problem with it. And since I haven't done two of the lances in the company making one of the mechs a Centurion CN9-D isn't going to hurt much. Anyways I need your PC's name and such. He'll be a Lieutenant and in charge of Bull Lance (2nd lance of 2nd company). Callsign will of course be Bull One.

Well if you have lance full of fast moving, jumping medium mechs.
Something like my favourite Griffin-6S, Dervish-7D, Starslayer 3D or if you want older tech machines that still fit my favourite profile.
Wolverine WVR-6M, Quickdraw QKD-5A, Dervish DV-6M, or Phoenix Hawk PHX-1D. Even an Assassin ASN-21 would work if you want a lighter machine.
I'm fond of my jumping and scoot and shooting. Any unit I'm a member of is not useful for defensive manuvers but definately a scout/heavy raider force is where I always fit best. If you want I can post the gist of what my character is stats wise at some point.
The issue on the defensive with the machines I've listed is they're primary asset is they're ability to avoid enemy fire is they're best defence, and they can whittle down more powerful forces fighting with lots of defensive depth to drop back.
My characters name is Tempus Thales. Who owns his mech, I really don't care which of the mechs I listed it is.
