OOC: Warning! SD's long babbling again!
I'm not talking about honorable death here, there is no more honor under the gray matter, when you drown a mech in lava, there is minimal chance that you'll get out and if you'll suffocate, then you'll have peace. When facing superior enemy, you may throw yourself against them and have chance to slow it down and save your fellows, but against gray matter it's useless and stupid death. One of the worst things that can happen to a warrior, I lost some friends this way, accident explosions...

My choice has the best of both worlds.
1) I stopped Grey Matter from consuming me and I'm spared eternal torment. Or at least he consumes me when I'm cold, unfeeling and very dead.
2) By rendering myself unconsumable due to the cyanide, my sacrifice will make the Grey Matter weaker or at least not get stronger. Consuming healthy living organisms makes Grey Matter stronger. If it consumes my corpse it will get a tummy ache and maybe more !
The most honorable although cowardly idea I would admit.

If it was so easy, then why wouldn't they fill the kitchen with cyanide or poisoned corpses? Both things can be obtained in large quantities these days.

Well, I get the feeling my CO values myt ech more than he values me. He is a Wolf, and he despises the idea of having Jaguars for warriors.
