So, some of you may ask, what has that loser Cadet been up to lately? Well A lot actually.
As most of you know, I had a really shitty year. Between the late unpleasentness of me and several other board memeber, dropping out of ROTC, that other woman, breaking my ankle, and the dead family thing...well, things could have been better, but let's face it...c'est la vie.
So I went away to an Army course. And I got sick. Sick enough that I checked into the hospital and when they blood work came back, there were a few problems. To make a long story short, it was enough of a problem that I had to be seperated from the Army on medical grounds. So for the first time in a decade, I am totally a civilian. Bummer.
But some of you did know that the other woman had feelings for me and she and I were close even before all this and I think I see something permanent in her. I dunno. She likes me, so there is no accounting for taste.
I won't be in West Virginia much longer. I'm looking for work in Florida or someplace with a better economic situation.
I would very much like to try my hand at writing something and getting paid for it. I have been told by many people, some of whom make money from it, that I am a fair writer and I should make a go of it. So we'll see.
And I got a haircut this morning. What have you been up to? ^_^

Don't worry. I'm not going to become some damn hippy overnight. It's not quite high and tight (someone likes running her fingers through my hair) but close.

Damn, I'm sorry to hear you had to leave the Army. Your country has lost somebody destined to a glorious and gory death in some God forsaken faraway place...
On second thought, it might be not that bad a thing
