Well, being a member of the video game sales department, I can tell you that GTA: VC is the most highly anticipated console game of all time. For pretty good reason too.
For those of you that lived under a rock and didnt pay attention to the console world, GTA III is one of the highest selling console games of all time. Its blend of great game play and the sinfully joyful life working as a organized crime member was too much fun.
Well, to cut this short, it spawned a psuedo-sequal in Vice City. Vice City is actually more of a standalone than a sequal. New characters (for the most part) and a whole new city. And the best part...it takes place in the 80s, complete with the music and glam of the decade. Now...the city you are in is pretty much Miami, and it takes place in the 80s, and the game is called "Vice City"...yeah...thats right. Sorry all you Miami Vice fans...its a direct play on your show.
Anyways, the game, for the most part, is better in every aspect that made GTAIII great.
So, if you can get a copy for yourself, do try it. It has a LOT of gameplay in it...we're looking at a few dozen hours worth...

U wont be able to get it for a few weeks...pretty hard to come by actually. Keep lookign though, awesome game.

My bro suprised me with it today, I guess all the employees at Circuit City (including him) bought out all the new copies. I'll have to try it out and give a review here, if I can tear myself away from D2:LOD (that's new to me also).

D2 lod is an awesome game. Oh and Chihawk you and mordel should really think of making a new forum that has to deal with trading. THat way people trading classic btech, Dark age, the btech cards and all that have a designated place to post at.

I'm going to say that a new forum for this isn't going to happen anytime soon.
However, if you click on the "report defect/enhancement" and request it Mordel may eventually add one.

omfg.....Vice City is my new personal jesus. I've never played GTA3, but I'm sad I've missed it now. This game has some of the best graphics I've ever seen, with no slowdown and very low load times. The plot is presented to you by in-game cutscenes, which look almost as good as FMV. Missions are really varied and challenging, but not frusteratingly hard. The weapon selection is completely awesome and easy to use, and all the cars are modeled to 99% perfection, with some details and their real names dropped for liscening reasons. And finally, the theme of the games: the 80's. It's so fun to be wearing a hawaiian shirt and whitewashed blue jeans while using a M60 mounted on your newly-hijacked Porsche to waste a bunch of funeral-goers for the dead enemy drug lord
