MechWarrior: Dark Ages stuff...I bought 1 starter and 3 Boosters...
Out of that, the only faction I didn't get something for was the Spirit Cats (I think Warner bought them all...  )...
Out of the 4 'Mechs, 3 were BattleMechs (a Highlanders Koshi, a Dragon's Fury Spider and a Highlanders Centurion) and a Construction 'Mech (non moddied, Steel Wolves faction)...all were green...
Out of the 5 vehicles, I got a green Bannson's Raiders M1 Marksman, a Dragon's Fury Veteran Condor and veteran JES II Missile Carrier, a Steel Wolves green Fox Armored Car, and a Green Swordsworn Mobile HQ...
Out of the 11 infantry, I got an elite Dragon's Fury Peasant Company, a green Bannson's Raiders Peasant Company, 2 Elite Steel Wolves standard foot units, an elite Swordsworn Hoverbike squad, a Green Steel Wolves Cavalier Battle Armor unit, a veteran Steel Wolves Hauberk Battle Armor unit, a veteran Dragon's Fury Purifier unit, a green Highlanders Gnome Battle armor unit and 2 veteran Swordsworn Gnome Battle Armor units (these last two both came in the starter)...
All in all, not too bad I don't think I did too bad...3 of 4 'Mechs were BattleMechs, I got some nice tanks, and over half of my infantry was battle armor...and the only duplicates I got were in infantry, which I was kind of expecting...although two veteran Gnomes in the same starter was kind of a surprise...I was just glad that I didn't have to go to the next town over to get these...the local Software, Etc. sells them...
So, what about everyone else?

well my bro bought 1 starter and two boosters and he got two real mechs and and one construction. I had to break the news to him that, no, I was not planning on buying any in the near future, so he would have to play with his son.
I will play using his stuff when he comes over, but right now I'm saving my dollars for the DC heroclix expansion!

I looked at it, and passed. I don't mind the way the minis look, by was kinda put off by the price. I don't know what they're selling for down i the US, but up here at my local hobby stores, the starter pack was $35, and a booster is $15. So, $80 to get a lance of Mechs and a Lance of vehicles and some infantry, and not get to choose what I get is a little much for me.

Woot...I got a Unique. Does that mean I am the only person in the world to have it? or just that its a holo-graphic Charzard? (sorry....worked at a toy store, kids asked all the time).

Hmm...bought any yet? 
Actually, the pics don't do them justice...the Centurion especially is VERY nice...
Of course, I'm also biased towards Centurions...
Seriously though...the tanks are also very good, and you can't really tell the difference between the metal and plastic infantry...
Now, as for game play, I can't comment on that, as I haven't tried that out yet...

I kinda like the way they look. Some of the tanks look awesome. As for the 'mechs...most, like the construction 'mechs look lame. But the 2 I got are pretty cool.
Havent played, dont care to. I will prolly just be a collector.

I just got two more of the UtilityMech Mods (the MiningMech Mod and the AgroMech Mod to go with the 2 ForestryMech Mods I already have)...they look pretty cool, and add a depth to BTech that has always been there, but never really seen...
And I'll have to get Hawk (one of the other Mods of the Classic BTech message board that lives in my town) over so that we can try this game out...

I picked up a starter pack and booster today to have a look at it. At least half my stuff is elite and I have this amazing veteran koshi from the starter pack. It is a modable mech. The left arm detaches very easily, making it possible to move those weapons over on to the top of the right arm.
Haven't looked at the rules yet, but I already know what will be the main reason I don't buy more clickytech if I decide not to do so. It says "Made in China" on the bottom. I'm not sure I want to buy toys made in communist China, not without knowing the details of who made them and what kind of pay do they get. And that don't even get into Tienamen Square and forced abortions of 2nd children right up to the moment the baby takes its first breath. (If the kid breathes, their law says it can live. But if it is a second child the govt will force the mother to have an abortion right up to that moment.)
