I was just thinking about the old Terran Hegemony, and toying with the idea of the group finding some old battlefield vehicle or such from it and I realized...I don't know what the insignia for the Hegemony is/was. The Cameron Star was used for the Star League, but what about the Hegemony?
Come to that, I don't know anything about the Hegemony, other than they came up with the BattleMech first, and they always had a higher tech level than the Great Houses.
Anyone know anything or know where I could find out?

I believe at one point it was suppose to be a flag showing our solar system on it with the sun in the center. I think I have a picture of that somewhere.
Beyond that I don't think anything official has been put out...it would be nice to see a book on the Hegemony and it's military and all that without the SL stuff added in.

The insignia of the Terran Hegemony is a stylized Sol system - the Sun, with the planets in a spiral around it.
I don't feel like uploading the image anywhere, and I can't post it here, but you can find the image in HMPro, under Logos (". . ./HeavyMetal/Pro/Logos/Terran Hegemony.jpg").
The best hiding place is generally right under the searcher's nose, don't you think?
Some of the logos in there are pretty detailed - detailed enough to make clear the the WoB sword is the Davion sword upside down and recolored. Damned wobbly thieves.

Merely another reason to detest them, soldier. But it is their own folly to hang the glorious blade of the Davions above their head, is it not? So much easier to behead them with it now.
Anyway, thanks all for info. And I will admit to not having looked in HMPro, my own fault. I just remembered never seeing it.

Another bit of info. In the Star League Defense Forces, the units that had "Royal" in the name, are units that were originally Terran Hegemony units. Such as xxth Royal Battlemech Division, for example.
