Welcome all to the first mech Olympics!
Today's event will match the 6 Houses (Lyran Commonwealth, Federated Suns, Draconis Combine, Capellan Confederation, Free Worlds League and Comstar) in a test of might and agility. This new sport, the Locust Throw, combines the brute strength of these heavy titans with the agile ability of those who pilot them. The competitors are:
From House Kurita, the Charger;
From House Davion , the Victor;
From house Liao, the Battlemaster;
From House Marik, the Cyclops;
From House Steiner, the Banshee;
And for the first time, from Comstar, the Highlander.
***Please note that the entry from the Periphery, the Atlas was disqualified for illegal myomer enhancement substances.
So, here it is sports fans! Come support and cheer on your favorite mech in the Locust Throw.

Victor has a hand, so it can throw the Locust. And if your concern is just to get the Locust off its feet, the Victor has an AC/20. That should get the Locust off its feet.

I think this is discrimination against Clans by not allowing them in the Games. Must be a bit scared of my Kodiak.

I think the charger's got a decent chance if it can run a bit before tossing.

Hello sports fans! This is a close race! The Victor has a slight lead, followed closely by the Battlemaster and Charger (both tied). The Highlander and Banshee are not too far behind with a single point sparating them. Unfortunately, the Cyclops, a Marik favorite has yet to score.

That's true... wonder why.... maybe the Awesome's kinda ponderous and not very agile?
The other mech would be the Goliath.. but i figure it would have lots of problems picking up the locust....

House Liao has the largest number of Chargers as of 3026. But house Liao is the only house that has deemed them of enough importancee to shunt funding to the modification of them in large numbers. The other Houses modified a few of them but left the majority of theirs unchanged as they are deemed unworthy od the resources.
