BattleMech: Battlemaster BLR-1001A
Rating: 4.50
Comment: Now that is a machine worthy of the title "BattleMaster".

BattleMech: Banshee BNC-3K
Rating: 4.00
Comment: Solid variant with good fluff reasoning as to why the design is the way it is. I like this vairant better than the 3E and I think makes this machine originally was supposed to be, a super heavy brawler with some ranged firepower. It is clearly not a 3S, which is a true assault Mech in every sense of the word; but it is what the fluff said, a cheaper alternate to the 3E.

BattleMech: Hyena HNY-2E
Rating: 4.50
Comment: Good fluff, that is why the score is as high as it is. It is refreshing to have a history on why this machine is designed as is and why one is very unlikely to face in combat. The Notable Personalities section is especially well done.

The Mech itself is a solid design, something that is even more rare, a pleasant change.

BattleMech: Stinger STG-5N
Rating: 0.00
Comment: In what shape or form is this a Stinger? Not similar in weapons, movement, weight, well anything that I can see and no fluff text on how the old Stinger morphed into this.

BattleMech: Uller G
Rating: 2.00
Comment: Not a bad design concept (stupid Clans with their armor on lights). This gives the Jade Falcons something to counter the Puma with. With that in mind I would rather see a pair of ER LLs, full JJs, and better heat dispensation. But at least one is on the right track.

BattleMech: Vulture I
Rating: 3.00
Comment: This is taking the ATM concept to the extreme. I would say the Vulture is the perfect Mech to try this experiment on. However, as a Mechwarrior I would like to have at least some Energy weapons. Perhaps drop the ATM 3s and add an ER PPC and a pair of ER MLs.

BattleMech: Summoner G
Rating: 2.00
Comment: The Summoner is a machine that has always screamed energy weapon monster with a minimum of ammo based backup, a missle launcher or two. ACs and Gauss are just too heavy in my opinion for this type of heavy maneuvering beast. This would be a good variant for a JF testbed of the ATM system, nothing more.

BattleMech: Daishi Dragon Slayer
Rating: 4.50
Comment: Nasty, nasty, nasty. Chew them up at range with massed big energy weapon fire, then if anything lives to close range put a few crit hunting SRMs into it.

BattleMech: Penetrator PTR-4D
Rating: 5.00
Comment: This is pretty much as close to perfect as you are going to get. Double ER Large Lasers slash your foe at range and if he dares to close you can ripe him to shreads with pulses. Add in armor, standard engine for survivability an AMS and JJs for positioning and you have a dream come true.

BattleMech: Dasher (Fire Moth) D
Rating: 2.50
Comment: The fastest 'Mech in the official world, yes there is a machine or two that can walk and run faster, but with MASC the Dasher takes the lead. All of this comes at a price, most noticably in the armor department.

The D is the best of the Dasher configurations. Giving it a very nasty bit with extra accuracy. Not to mention decent range especially if fighting against Inner Sphere technology. Give this machine some open or rolling terrain and it can play pure havoc with the enemy or die in a single round.
