Overview:
A surprisingly durable Pegasus, the (SD) variant can take a punch and yeet the crew to
safety when immobilized. It fulfills scouting duties while being (relatively) heavily armed.
Capabilities:
Fusion as a powerplant eliminates the fuel tank, allowing UNLIMITED SCOUTING! Lyrans, take
notes. Smoke is a frequent alternative missile munition. While it certainly CAN do damage,
it has many tactical benefits for "existing," so preserving the little annoyance is
frequently important.
Variants:
C3 on a fast frame is generally appreciated; units without that capability frequently
substitute it for another front-mounted laser that matches where the original was kept.
Notable MechWarriors:
The "Men Without Hats" Battalion was formed by members of "Hat-in-the-Ring" Battalion who
were thrown out of a nightclub (and the unit) for "Pogo-ing."
