Overview:
One of the earlier examples of both the Blackshield Company's focus on logistics and the
'new' Pulse Laser technology which as the time was still a recent reinvention for them. The
DLV-63RT "Deliverator 63" can best be described as a combat hauler. Proposed by the same
returning Expeditionary Corps that had, at the time, just returned with the schematics for
Pulse Lasers, the Deliverator 63 originally began as a slow moving and heavily armored tank
with the ability to carry almost an entire convoy's worth of cargo by itself along with
enough weapons to count as its own escort. Problems arose, however, when said tank was
barely able to move and required such a degree of maintenance that it would ironically end
up straining logistical processing more than it helped.
Despite the R&D department's attempts to convince everyone that quadrupling the time average
ETA of a convoy was entirely worth it, the schematic was outright denied and an entirely new
design was ordered. Disgruntled, the various engineers, designers and project leads decided
to come up with a nonsensical design that would make their previous 'magnum opus' show its
true value. They added enough armor to take weight but not enough to do more than just
survive a couple heavy hits. They added an LRM10 on a turret and two tons of ammo without
any other long range option. They took a trio of newly developed Small Pulse Lasers and
added one to almost every side but the rear instead of the turret and finally, they gave the
engine enough power to be only as fast as a CVL-45A "Cavalier 45".
The result was not only immediately approved but universally beloved as a concept by all who
saw it. Able to survive the alpha strikes of an ambush, match speed with its escort and even
provide long range supporting fire no matter the facing and from behind the safety of cover,
the inclusion of Small Pulse lasers for anti-infantry work on all sides without hindering
the LRM10's ability to fire at distant targets was the cherry on top that made it an instant
favorite. With congratulations being thrown their way, the confused and highly frustrated
creators of the newly dubbed DLV-63RT "Deliverator 63" were instructed to include a trailer
hitch and design an appropriate trailer that would supplement the carrying capacity of the
vehicle, resulting in the uncreatively named DLV-63TC.
Capabilities:
With good speed, fair armor and a surprising bite, the DLV-63RT "Deliverator 63" is able to
safely transport a full 10 ton cargo container to the front without fear of being taken out
immediately the moment it is hit. With enough armor to survive at least one hit from even an
AC20, the Deliverator 63 alone can prove dangerous to ambush with only light flanking units.
Given an appropriate escort, it can take on the role of a competent LRM boat. All of this
even more so when paired with its trailer that effectively doubles its firepower.
Deployment:
While not a helpless lamb, the DLV-63RT "Deliverator 63" is not a tank. it can theoretically
fight off a light ambushing force by itself but it is extremely ill-advised for it to do so.
Instead, one should view the DLV-63RT as a lightweight LRM boat in combat. Keeping out of
sight and utilizing indirect fire to supplement the real escort's firepower is the best way
to use this vehicle while the Small Pulse Lasers should only be used for anti-infantry or
emergency situations. With the trailer attached, one can rely on its firepower to prove
truly dangerous but it is still not advised to become dependent on the Deliverator 63 as a
combat unit.
Variants:
The DLV-63RT "Deliverator 63" has no variants, per se, but it does have a trailer which is
effectively a modified version of the main chassis.
The trailer version, dubbed the DLV-63TC (Trailer-Cargo) has no control systems and removes
the front facing Small Pulse Laser, using the extra space to upgrade the LRM10 to an LRM15
with 3 tons of ammo.

None; even if a vehicle crew did attain fame, it would only be in the territories of the
Blackshield Company and thus of no significance to the major powers.
