Toying with an idea here, and wondering if y'all might want to be guinea pigs and try it out...
Would folks be interested in a one-on-one style tournament where players are pitted against each other in online play using MegaMek and/or Discord?
The specifics would be nailed down after we determine the number of people that want to play, but essentially you'd be given a pool of BV to "purchase" units, and then once you've chosen you'd pick from that list in each match-up, using each mech once per round.
Like I said, still some stuff to determine but first on the list in interest. The key: you must generally be available to play once per week (which will really likely be once per 10 days) based on EDT times (GMT -4 currently).

Given it's 1v1, the odds are better of finding a time that works for both players. Other then having to try MM, I guess you can count me in.

Huh, I figured there would be a huge interest in this considering how many posters talk about the great battles they've won...I guess they're just stories.
