Can I submit Mechs for the custom TRO in the near future?
(Or can I submit it now but I'm too dumb to find the link?  )
Oh: And is there a spell checker any more (not that I've used it much previously  )

I prefer to say "in the future" versus "near future" since I'm not sure when you'll be able to again. I'm rewriting everything and want to get all the TW stuff in there before I actually allow it again. Could be several months.

In some places, yes. The B&G will have a spell checker as soon as I upload the next batch of changes. It will be the document icon with red circling (like highlighted text) that will appear to the bottom right of the text areas. For an example, you can go to the ERS and create a new request.

So I promise to wait paitiently and will submit my newest Mechs in the "Design Submissions"-Forum first!

As I tend to make spelling Mistakes I resolve to use it in the future.

The spell checker is now in place on the forums (to the right of this textarea when typing). At least in the posting area. Let me know if you think they need to be elsewhere as well.
