Hello all, I've been away awhile again. If any of you are heading to the periphery in Davion employ, steer as clear from an assignment to K-374-A9 at all costs. Its a nightmare. We didn't even know who we were fighting. We captured no one, anyone not dead killed themselves. They wear plain uniforms with no unit ID at all. And they field a large number of ClanTech and advanced Inner Sphere designs, so they are well supplied.

heh, c'mon mate. You know as well as I did that is just a glorified misnomer for the alley door that Lurch so fondly throws me OUT of whenever I misbehave
(This is taken from a post of chihawks  I called it the head... He informed me it was an alley and thats why it was so full of garbage. I don't remember which thread its in heh.)

Well, these guys didn't use any regular formation pattern. They used mixtures of different formations, as some of the better merc units do. I saw them operating in lances, stars, and L2s...
All I know other than this that most of the 'mechs are painted in dark blue, with a yellow pinstripe piping similiar to old terran military uniforms. Others were painted in various inner sphere and clan colors... so I assume they are either recent captures or defections.
As for comms... they used them. But with heavy heavy encryption. Like nothing I've ever seen before. My comms officer spent hours upon hours trying to crack the codes... and she is one of the best.
I know this, these guys scare me. I hope to never see them again. I don't care HOW much money you throw at me... I'll avoid them if I have the chance, and the option.
I lost more men in 20 minutes than I've lost in any MONTH prior of this units existence.

Ragith, you just need to think out of box. If they know the standard formations, them make some non-standard.
